PRODUCT DETAILSThe Lladró story began back in 1953, when three brothers took a chance.
Juan, José and Vicente Lladró left their jobs in a local tile factory to build a small kiln in the courtyard of their family home, in Almácera, near Valencia, Spain. Their dream: to create porcelain; porcelain with a difference. Porcelain that speaks without words.
Today, the tiny Lladró workshop has expanded into a city – the City of Porcelain – where over two thousand Lladró employees work every day. Yet still, every Lladró piece is made and painted entirely by hand, with total commitment to quality, care…and, of course, art.
Every Lladró sculpture has its own story. Each piece speaks in its own, totally unique way. Maybe it’s the eyes, the colours, or the way it seems to say so much…without uttering even a single word. There’s something enchanting about Lladró. Which sculpture will draw you under its spell?
Innocent and adoring, carefully carrying her precious little bundle through the garden…this darling girl is learning to care.
While she might only be young, she’s not too young to know just how important it is to look after her beautiful puppy. Her delicate arms wrap around his soft fur as she holds him nice and close. A tender moment and a beautiful scene captured in stunning detail, this exquisite figurine is a touching reminder of the power of love.
